Since the birth of my first child, I have been fasinated with infant/child development. I did quite a bit of study on how, when, and why infants do what they do.

After my second child, I became interested in the differences between children.

My third child (kinestetic learner) really got me into reading about learning/teaching styles. This was even before we decided to homechool. I was just trying to cope with teaching him at home and church. This also led me into the topic of ADHD. Which I will elaborate on at a later date. But, to me ADHD is much more of a gift than a disability.

Follow this link to a wonderful site about how to cope with the challenges of parenting. Don't let the title deter you. You don't have to have an ADD child to benefit from these studies. They are awesome.
